An incredibly less technical non-analysis totally agrees with this. The sweet spot (no sleds but little or no dry walking) seems to occur in June (maybe a few days into July), and the question is when in June. Epic spring snow says late in June, lame spring snow says earlier in June.
Don't miss the best window; when it's hot, it can go in just about 2 weeks from perfect (park at the trailhead or near it and ski!) to a 1000' to 1500' dry carry, less fun if you plan to overnight and are carrying both camp and glacier gear.

Excellent info Amar, I really appreciate the detail. That is some great stuff.
I agree James, there is a nice little window when things are great. The meadows up above are great, but so are the meadows down low. I skied the whole mess a couple years ago on plain Nordic gear (not BC) and it was a blast. The winter route over the creek was challenging, but otherwise it was nice, easy meadow skipping. I also agree with the guess as far as when we will hit the magic moment.

Amar, thanks for the great info. It looks like my grand illusions of doing Baker via Squak Glacier on Memorial Day weekend are just that, grand illusions.
