Mike, thanks for the report. What a discouraging sight, I have been traveling, and could not wait to make a few quick laps at the Ridge. I think selfish sums it up, but I doubt the thought ever crossed their mind. And the really irritating thing, it there is no shortage of places close by that would be legal. I can't imagine they thought it was ok to ride in the ski area!

Exactly why a bigger administrative hammer needs to be used.  The community can't police itself...

Last year 3 TAYers skinned up the middle of Rolling Knowls on a busy Saturday.
A few weeks ago, a couple of TAYers were skinning up under the gondi chair near Upper Bowl and setting a nasty traverse track below skiers dropping in from above...on a busy day. I have no doubt they felt themselves entitled to do so...pricks!

These resort skinning TAYers are a terrible example of public outreach by the TAY community towards resort skiers to paraphrase Toddy.

Ahh, clearly the TAY community can't 'police itself'. Must need a bigger administrative hammer....

I'm told there are efforts being made to track down the snowmobilers at Mission. If they are identified, I suspect they will be run through the same ringer that the snowmobilers in Headlight Basin were put through last year....
