Buddy up or die - two nonavalanche deaths in Tahoe

today i fell in a deep hole with a watery bottom many feet down. my elev. was @3,500 ft. so the snow was fairly compact around it's edges.
slowly crawled out as my little crew watched and shot a couple pics.
got lucky on a fun day
