Alpy Night Ski

No more night ski tonight or Wednesday at Alpental.

Can the powers get this to change? Should be pretty good these next few days.

Yes, obviously the powers that be could change this. The truth is, as the season wears on, sales and profit margins decrease. It costs money to pay the employees and energy bills to keep the lifts turning, and the lights on. THAT, is what matters to the powers that be.
If more of us kept buying lift tickets, hamburgers, and beer, the operations would reflect this.
I have to keep reminding myself of this every time crystal closes ops due to "forecasted bad weather".... Like tomorrow. :'(
I do appreciate that crystal has aknowledged for the first time since they ended reduced midweek ticket prices, that they do in fact have "normal midweek operations".

Been thinking about this since this morning when I discovered a pow night at Alpental was nixed by the new schedule, and now come to find that a day at Crystal tomorrow has limited operations due to a weather prediction only. Nice customer service guys . . . , can we get Jesse on this?

The latest I've heard is Hyak's last day of ops is March 25th.

Winds of 46 with gusts to 71 in the opening hour, sounds like they nailed the predication. Also looks like more wind in store for tomorrow.
