You might check with 'teledavid'. I know he had something happen to his Voile Switchback's last year and based on his description and your picture, sounds and looks like it was the same thing.

Thanks!
As for that binder, John, can't lock up a free spirit.
(Oh, and been too long since I've seen you and Jenn!)

The age of your SB's might have something to do with it.
It looks like sometime in early 2009, Voile switched to a heat-treated 410 stainless for the toe-pieces due to failure of earlier versions.
See the 'Reviews' tab for more info:
www.voile-usa.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc...Product_Code=608-110
I just looked at my 4 pairs and the oldest of them has a considerable arc on the front of the toe bar (like yours) and a front to back dimension at the bend (where yours broke) of 2.5 cm. The newer pairs have much less of an arc (the newest having none) and a front to back dimension at the bend of 3.2 cm.

I sent a message to Voile and will call later during business hours if I don't hear back, but will post the response. Glad I have a loaner pair in the meantime. Get to finally try out those O1s.
(Which were awesome. I want them!)
