I will definitely call, I just wondered if anyone else has had this happen. My heel throw shattered last season when we had some single digit temps. The response was, "Oh, brittle plastic. Buy new ones." At least they were only $10.

I had a failure like that on the stainless toepieces of my 7TMs several years back -- those Switchbacks are all one piece though, right? No weld to crack... I haven't heard of a lot of SB problems.

The "brittle plastic" line sounds a bit bogus for single digit temps... but I'm not materials scientist. I'm sure Voile will do you right here, at least.

I'd replace that with a Dynafit binder
