Vertfest 2012

Vertfest 2012 is less than 3 weeks away!  We hope you will join us on Sat and Sunday, February 18 and 19 at Alpental for the Monika Johnson Memorial Rally, the Stanley Cup (new this year), live music with Head Like a Kite, gear demos galore and an expanded schedule of clinics with the best guides and athletes in the business.

Vertfest keeps getting bigger and better, and this year is no exception!

Do tickets have to be purchased in advance or can one register for the race the day of the event?

Race is moved to Saturday? Bummer. I guess my stuffed kitty needs a ride.

Day of registrations are ok...but it does help us if folks can pre-register.

I'm an A/T skier and have signed up for the sidecountry steeps class. A tele friend of mine would like to join me but is concerned there wouldn't be much instruction for free-heelers. Will it be worth her while?

Brian - the clinic is appropriate for strong tele-skiers. It is more focused on terrain assessment and navigating steep terrain than skiing skills.
