ski slot vehicle modification

I just bought a new outback. How much do you charge for this modification? Will it void my warranty?

For reference, I found this figure in Hucho's Aerodynamics of Road Vehicles at the Seattle Library, Central branch (reference only).  This shows % increases in aero drag for various ski racks & boxes.  A, B, and C are enclosed boxes, while D-G are open racks.



At highway speed, fuel economy will drop by 50-60% of these numbers, in percent.

Good solution, but with a box fuel economy doesn't suffer that much for me. 1-2mpg depending on if there is a headwind or not.
