ski slot vehicle modification

I wanted to be able to get 4 skiers in my Subaru at times, yet disliked the lower gas mileage of a ski rack or rocket box on all winter. I admired the ski slot I saw in a friends Audi so gave it a shot with a reciprocating saw. It was easy to open the stitching in the corner of the larger back seat panel with a razor. All seatbelts and headrests are intact. Back seat panels are now equal width. Cut area was covered over with fabric left over with minimal sewing. About a 2 hr job including setup.

OMG, the "Wayback" will never be the same.  I see a marketing opportunity.
