Just so you know, I plan to mount Dynafit rental heel pieces on them, which will allow for greater boot size change differences.
Assuming we can get them hooked on, I'll likely over one a test run if we're in the area... especially if that stropping boy of you 'ern was to break out a nice skin track.

WOW !   The skis are beautiful and the product description is wonderful. 

I'm really pleased to see that you are finally going to enjoy the attributes of a fatter ski in the appropriate conditions.  I made the switch last season and have had more fun on powder and variable conditions.

Naturally, the wider skis will provide us a pleasant skin track as we follow you and Mad Dog. 

Kam and Ally, really pleased to see the development of skilab.  Jill and I will be in the Tahoe and Eastern Sierra area in March and April so we would enjoy seeing you again and Norie.

So, since this isn't a eulogy thread, I'll just ditto Chris' comment that you deserve those skis - which I'm sure is his way of saying that you deserve the thanks of the community for what you bring to it.

Now I've got two good reasons to get Brett touring with you soon. The first is that I'm sure he can't wait to break trail for you, and the second is that he just got his senior project mounted up with some new dynafits. Thanks to Kelvin for taking him under his wing this summer and showing him the way of the skibuilder. Now the two of you can keep each other company as you drool over your new custom skis.

BTW: I came in waaayy late on your "not to repeat" thread. Glad to hear that you're back up and at it!
