. But as long as we're talking about you, it does make sense for the chief etiquette officer to start this sort of thread.
Exactly, and thank you for recognizing that fact. You know of my deep concern for correct touring etiquette and dropping stuff all over the BC is not good etiquette or very good technique either.
These LOST people need to recognize that and improve their game.

why do folks lose gear while touring?
because they are:
1) in a stupor
2) inexperienced
3) etiquette challenged
4) cognitive dissonanced
5) in icy conditions
6) in a fall line too difficult for their ability
7) experiencing gravity
9) no longer producing sperm
10) sloppy
11) lazy
13) lost
14) victims of thieves
15) victims of good samaritans
16) tired
17) impaired via that alaskan in the pack
