Jesus H.Christ, it's "Lost while ski touring season again." ::) ::) ::) ::)
What is wrong with you people????

Keeping all your gear together and not dropping stuff is part of the ski touring skill.
Only thing I've lost in 8 years of touring is my mind.

Check with lost and found at the MRNP ranger station.
They might have one that is better than the one you lost ;)

Maybe you need more challenging situations then :)

Sorry Scotty.  I'll admit it:  I lost my balls.  I was staring down the entrance to shot 4 in early May and they just fell off.  Didn't even notice them as I retreated down the fan...

If you find them, I'd gladly give you a six pack for returning them

Are you sure they're not in your wife's purse?

Me too.... I have not only lost my mind but lost my nerve on several occasions and I make no excuses for the fact that I don't like steep and hardpack skiing... never have, never will... and although it diminishes my street cred... I'll live with it.
Therefore Summer skiing = so overrated ( for me)= can't wait for winter to come again.

However, I have never lost gear, dropped ice-axes, crampons, poles etc and always find the TAY LOST SEASON somewhat bemusing frankly. Keeping your stuff with you and not falling of your pack or forgetting to pick them up would seem to me to be a rather basic ski/mountaineering skill. Apart from the littering of our beautiful lands , I think it shows a basic sloppiness and I certainly wouldn't want to tour with somebody that wasn't able to manage the complexities of keeping ones gear intact and with them.
