Michael - My very deepest condolences go out to you. I feel very fortunate to have had the privilege to meet both Brenda and yourself, and the news of her passing is simply heartbreaking. She was such an incredible positive spirit, and as a close friend of mine who recently met her stated - she was one from whom you could immediately feel their strength, warmth, and genuineness without hardly saying a word.
I had the opportunity to visit with Brenda for a time at Timberline Lodge last month just as we were getting ready to head home. You were out skiing, and she was just hanging out until you were done and it was time to go. I ultimately left my pack and she brought it home with you to save me the trouble of retrieving it. At the time I felt frustrated for troubling you guys, and now I’m just thankful as it gave me one last chance to visit with her.
