Skiing a long decent 4,000' with a less experienced person I told the person not to ski past me and only to me were I was on an island of safety. They were wearing head phones. I yelled at them while standing right next to them after skiing less than 1000' that everything was seeming stable but still ski to islands of safety. They only heard everything seems stable and took off down the hill past me letting off an avalanche that went over 2,000'. Thank God no one was hurt or killed, but enough said. There is a time and place for music in the mountains
