What - no laptop or at least an e-book reader?

My headphones are usually for the up - I typically put them away for the down, even if I'm skiing alone. Nothing is more annoying than having one side fall out in the middle of a good NIN track.
If I need to talk to my partners - they come out. Pretty simple.
I don't wear them every-time-all-the-time. Sometimes I simply don't feel like listening to them. Sometimes I need the inspiration to keep charging. Sometimes its nice to turn up the volume and have my own personal soundtrack.

"What do you got on your feet, rocks?" Said to guy on Dukes/alpine boots.
"Are you kidding me? When I was your age we'd haul 210s up 4 ... 5,000 feet."
"So what?"
"So what? So let's dance!"
