An end to Crystal Fest as we know it... was created by maryg
Crystal Fest will have to wait until July...
Spring Skiing at Crystal Mountain
Spring passes go on sale April 1st and will be valid as long as conditions and operations allow, hopefully into June. All 2010/2011 winter season passes are valid through April 17th. Our extended spring season begins Thursday, April 21st!
Spring/Extended Season:
April 21- May 15 (Thursday- Sunday).
May 20- 22 (Friday-Sunday)
May 27-30 (Friday-Monday, Memorial Day Weekend)
June 4-12 (Saturday and Sunday only)
Not sure the cost, but this Spring could be really fun!

I was told Crystal had purchased sunbathy type chairs for putting near the summit house and envisage euro type lounge lizarding as you sip cocktails and beer from the summit house bar and admire scantily clad ski chicks as they bare their skin for Vitamin D.
Sounds like fun but it will interesting to see how it affects the touring scene.

I believe that only the gondola and GV lift will operational and that the resort skiing will be somewhat confined( edited thanks to lernr) hence the ungulates can migrate unharrassed, but that's pure conjecture.i thought Crystal had to shut down at a certain date in April due to the elk migration? is that not the case anymore?

Yes I did, thank you......
Seems Pete A got caught in the dreaded "quoted before I deleted the post" syndrome that can catch those that have second thoughts about their posts.

Probably( conjecture)... self sensoring is very much in line with the reinvigoration of the TAY ethos at the moment. NTTIAWWT!
