The road crew's effort to clear the road as of late can best be described as pathetic. The time, effort, and cash put in by the citizen's of Port Angeles to making Hurricane Ridge more accessible have been completed wasted, with this weekend's debacle being a good example of this. If I performed my current job (or any job) as poorly as the road crew performs their's, I would be sh**-canned immediately.
Anxious to see the crew heading up tomorrow morning at 8:30 after their morning coffee.

The Plake's passion for skiing was clear in the several conversations I had with them over the last week. We are fortunate to have such great ambassadors representing the sport we love.
Rumor has it the Hurricane Ridge Road will open in the morning, a day late and many $ short .......................

^^^ Great pics. I wish I'd been able to meet him. My son said he was a hoot.

I was able to tag along with glen and Kimberly via TNT on sat morning at hyak. It was quite awesome to ski fresh lines with the guy that has always inspired me since I started skiing back in thane in 1986. The flickr link above is mine, so enjoy.
He was awesome, as Kimberly. He hung out with the younger crowd, taught some ski ballet and shredded some pow.
I will post a video link soon. So glad I invested in helmet cam last week!
