Can They Make You Wear A Ski Helmet?

A variation is whether it is reasonable to require children to wear helmets. There is precedent such as requirements that kids wear bike helmets. I think some ski schools require helmets for kids. Does this question get a different answer?
Re Touring: One of the worst head impacts I ever got (was wearing, thankfully) was foolishly trying to ski fast over suncups in the summer. Had I not had my helmet on, Mack would have been cleaning my brains up from the snow field for quite a while. So, it's 100% helmet for me.

I fully expect that ski helmets will be required at some point just like bike helmets are today. I don't know that anyone will enforce it in the bc, but I expect ski areas will enforce it.

While a helmet does not make one invincible, it certainly does no harm.
And while one makes a personal decision not to wear a helmet, if involved in an accident resulting in brain injury, the decision has the potential to affect others just as much. Family members will be left to shoulder the burden of care and take on the things that the brain injured person can no longer do. Financial hardship may follow. Such a tragedy is always magnified when it is preventable. And can lead to resentment: even if a helmet might night have prevented injury, the inevitable thought echoing through the minds of family members, "If only he had worn a helmet this never would have happened" is difficult to silence and reconcile.
Are we discussing wearing helmet while driving or riding in automobiles? The leading cause of Traumatic Brain Injury is vehicular accidents.
