Reports are she was killed in an avalanche.  Backpack glove and other things found in avalanche debris.

worried...hoping

Just back from the pass. The heli arrived at daybreak, but clouds had begun to touch down on Snoqualmie and Kendall, with counterpropagating winds near the ridges. Organized SAR and dogs in the parking lot/heading into Commonwealth, just as they had been in several teams overnight. Precip was just barely starting, but visibility remained good below the clouds.

Remarkably good things happen all the time in the mountains.

She truly loves hugs.
