This is a great method and its really the only way to get them apart. However since i bought a new set of skins for my splitboard this season....it seems BD has changed their formula for the Voile tractor skins, they are no longer putting the nylon strip down the middle, and the darn things are so sticky there is not a human being alive who can pull the damn things apart.
I have used the"pinch and roll" method for 20 tours this season thus far, and it works great, no harm to the skins at all.
