Tourists are now wanting Portlandia themed bike tours and a local bike tour company is delivering.
I think there is a business opportunity here for TAY tours for touristas!

If I sign up for a TAY tour will I need to bring my own gore-tex sombrero or will one be available for loan?

We will provide gore-tex sombreros , gaiters and a locking carabiner to hang from your pack. There will be a lot of pit digging and not much skiing but a lot of skinning. We will have a selection of narrow assed skis for you too choose from and we will try and ensure that your ski selection is inadequate for the conditions.
The tour will start with a "circle of smugness "where we all form a circle and join hands and make a commitment to being only positive, uplifting and giving back to our sport and bless ourselves for the journey of discovery we are about to embark upon.
The end of the tour will involve a debriefing, where each participant will share with the others why they now feel vastly superior to everybody else, especially resort skiers.

I'm glad you brought up the 'biner thing. I was thinking about this as I watched several of them go by on the outside of backpacks at Summit West yesterday. God forbid you ski Summit Central without a 'biner.
