I was up to the top over the weekend and the only damage I could see was a covered window in the "East Peak" upper lift shack. I would guess that the window was covered because it was broken, but couldn't tell for sure. That was the extend of the damage I could see up close and personal.
There isn't too much in that shack, so I can't imagine there would be major delays even if someone roughed it up. The other lift shack, generator building, and upper terminal for Hidden valley all looked fine. I think the original post on Hyak forum was over stated. I also don't believe that anyone who would take the time to skin up to the top would partake in this kind of destruction. That is just not who the touring crowd is...
Aside from the presumed broken window, the bails (the 'hoops' attached to cable) are all on East Peak, but the chair seats/backs are not. The Hidden Valley chair looks completely done with all the chairs on and nothing hanging out of the terminals.
I would guess a couple of more weeks or so until it opens.
