We did some touring at Hyak on Friday, and then went to practice with the Alpental Beacon Search - It's a great tool! We couldn't get the easy level tow work, but did the next level. We didn't actually take probes out, so didn't ever finish a rescue, but it was a first time experience for my Brother in law using his beacon. I need to get him back there, because I'm not sure he can find me yet...

We used the beacon park today for a level II avy class, all levels worked fine.
