And Scotsman you rock! Hope we can make some turns this Winter!

Well thank you and you rock too Tim and I'd love to make some turns with you. ;D
Loved your post... let me guess English Lit major, Evergreen College........no? ;)
Anyhoo, you obviously took umbrage over a couple of things, namely;
1) The guy over on TGR saying that Silas sounded like a C********R, however as the guy explained he was taking umbrage over Silas making fun of the young dude in the parking lot, the "fashion police" bit. Love to see the full part of that..seems to have been edited a bit too soon.Who knows maybe it was you he was making fun of but that's what I think got the initial negative response on TGR..Negativity breeds negativity..... Not that its not fun making fun of the way other people dress( I'm guilty ... I make fun of narrow assed skis and gators) but Silas is considered one of the "nice" TAYers so maybe a bit surprising..... ;)
2) CM's post regarding your post being "spammy" due to it's inherent commercial content( i.e. Sponsors). However I read that you are a non profit group. However non profit although it sounds very altruistic can still have a profit or more correctly a surplus
( see Wiki. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-profit_organization ). So just to clear it up, the money or "payment in kind"
( cheap gear from Sponsors?) which I'm sure  meager... is this surplus or "payment in kind" used for a charity or spread within the members of TST?

Also why did you post it on TGR and not TAY? All the rest seem to have been posted in both places.
Excuse my inquiring mind, I can't help asking questions. Always trying to learn.

Re: the Warren Miller arbitration finding.

Strictly the arbitrator did not find completely for Mr Miller or find him at all blameless....

Based on the contractual language and history of the agreements, the arbitrators sided with WME by deciding that “Miller’s participation in a ski film produced by a competing ski film company is a breach of these grants and promises.”

The panel also found fault with Miller’s actions last year in response to the situation. “Mr. Miller also breached this exclusive grant of his publicity rights to WME when he directly or through others operating upon his authorization, communicated that he was no longer associated with the WME films and that he did not like those films or WME’s practices,” the panel wrote. “Those statements and writings are contrary to and inconsistent with the perpetual grants made to WME.”

However

The panel did favor Miller in regard to a breach of contract claim by WME. The parties agreed to use California contract law in this part of the case, so proving specific evidence of damages was necessary to find a breach of contract. In deciding for Miller, the arbitrators called the possible evidence presented by WME to be “speculative, insufficient and lacking credibility to support any specific damage to WME.”

Which just goes to prove if you don't understand the paperwork when you sell your comapny this year... you'll be at least a year older before you do.
