I was going to give my opinion but balked at doing so the first time....
....as it turns out you bought 190's which is not what I would have recommended for you. 180-ish would have given you a challenge, but been closer to the average comfort length for someone your size. No reason to challenge yourself with such a long ski, but it's just a bit more challenging than the 180. ....
.... thanks marcus...

Let it go tele.skier -- it was a one-off comment that wasn't even directed at you. You've clearly got plenty of experience, just share it and call it good.
mtnwkr, I fully agree with Scotsman, et al -- the Shuksans are going to be awfully narrow for you. They'll make a fine summer ski, but you'll be working hard mid-winter, especially if we get what NOAA is predicting.

Thanks for the replies all. I'm not married to these skis and I'm sure I can turn them around on Cl pretty easily. The boots and bindings seem to be the big ticket items anyways. Any ski and size recommendations for a newb with only XC experience?

Length= 181 to 185 mm ( but you are very tall so even 188 if rockered tip)
Shape= Get early rise or rockered tip! It works!
width= 92-95mm if you really have to! 105mm-115 mm if you really want to enjoy PNW winter snow.
Tails: Flat or Falttish tail, Do not get twin tips for touring.
Voile Charger
Dynafit manaslu( bit narrow for my taste but a great ski) or better Dynafit Stoke ( wider)
K2 Hardside or even better K2 sidestash.
K2 Coomback
Best ski on the planet( IMHO) is the Rossignol S7 but too heavy for touring and tail is rockered but I have toured in them and they rock !
If you have money to burn, best touring ski on the planet( againIMHO) is the DPS Wailer 105 carbon or even better the DPS Lotus 120 carbon( prolly a bit wide for you right now). Both these skis are twin tips in the pure sense but not much and a little tail rise can help in certain conditions.
Thats my free advice but I'm sure other will have their own, equally valid opinions,
