The Chantrelle correlations

Anyone else noticed how fine the seasons' chantrelle harvest has been?  Last two times it was like this, the ski seasons were fabulous.  The oldtimers in Cambridge, Id. are predicting a five strand winter (fences in cattle country have five strands of barbed wire..)

Not only are your posts the most interesting EVAR but you are a handsome devil as well.
I've been mountain bike riding at Banner Forest all season and the commercial mushroom pickers there have been carting out bags of them recently.
They taste good!

I've been filling my bags in record time. They seem to have bloomed extra early with exceptional quantity and quality. It must be a omen.

very kind, sir, impeccable judgment as always.. and clearly, no picture of me is worth 800x600 however the portrait of yourself you shared with us from behind the bobsled, a year or two ago, was Stunning!!  i'll see if i can dig it up  -  or perhaps you have it handy..?
