Obviously there is a gaping hole in the market for an expensive electronic device to help you find your GPS locator beacon?

That's my old Spot.  I did a solo trip to the top of Alpental Friday, left it on a post on the unload ramp at the top of the upper chairlift, where it could get a clear signal.  My wife and I went back yesterday, saw its print in the snow, but it had skied on down.

Thanks for rescuing it - I guess it works!

Please ID this clown publically.

Because he misplaced something?  You need to recalibrate your irritation meter.

Glad you got it back panomanic. Thanks for posting spresho.

Sorry oh great humorless one. ::)

I find losing one's PLB while leaving it out to get a "good fix" while in good cell coverage at the top of Alpy Chair 2 just ridiculously funny.

It's not simply misplacing "something"

I was irritated.

First because Alpental closed early with a ton of snow and second, because they stopped the chair at the top where we couldn't sit on it.  >:(  Still a great day in the mtns with the boy and the pup.

Glad the SPOT found you, I was thinking maybe only 50-60 people had been up there since Friday.
