SPAM Message. Legit?

No, it is not legit! That message was sent by a spammer. If a PM does not come from "Charles" or "Marcus", then it is not from a forum admin. Please see the posts I made (currently) at the end of this thread.

I just recently received this message and wondering if it is legit:

Spam sending from your computer was detected.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately: http://ant..................ivirus2010.webcindario.com/on................line-scanner/
If you do not pass this test  we will have to delete your account and forward a complaint to your ISP with attached log file (your IP address, etc.).

I don't know, but it seems bogus. You might want to break up the link in your message so someone doesn't accidentally click it.

I received the same message - smells bad. The "forum administrator" that sent the message (JosephWard) had 0 posts.

Marcus is out of town but I'll get Charles to look into this...
