Yeah, I love my Kailas and STs. I wouldn't replace them except they're 4 years old and been skied hard. And they're the AT set up I went to after I came to darkside from tele-ing. I also have a pair of Janeks with
STs. They're just not as good in as many different conditions as the Kailas are.

Kneel Turner,  Get it while the gettin's good!  What did you buy?  I got some Vertical ST's and some BD poles. :p Their shipping is always fast, just 3 days in my case, so you should have it before it warms up.:)

Steadyski, here's another source for the FT12s:

i've got some green (foam) 183 havoc's i'll sell you if you want to go cheap... decent shape, ballpark 40days over the last few seasons.

IMHO, lightweight skis suck. And why carry sh**ty skis up something that ruin the down. It's like driving a mini-van around a race track.

Kailas is a fun ski. I've skied it a few times and it was super versatile in soft snow/pow and firm groomers - never skied it in icy conditions though. I've skied the 185 cm and I'm around 6' & 165lbs. I thought length/stiffness was great but thinking you at 6'3" 190 it may not be enough ski for you. More folks might be able to comment but that would be the only hesitation on the ski - potentially not stiff enough for your weight and how aggressive you say you ski...
