Jerry, what's the latest on your status?

I was thinking about you when this latest storm rolled in and dumped 2+ feet at Paradise; this after it looked like spring had sprung and we'd have what we already got until next season.

It reminded me of a day in the begining March 2005 or so? when we toured into Edith Creek basin at Paradise only to see quickly shrinking patches of somewhat skiable snow. Things looked grim and it seemed like it would be all sketch skiing from that point on. You optimistically proclaimed we would get 36 inches by the end of the month.

A couple days later it started snowing, and dumped for several weeks into April. Ended up being an epic powder spring! What year was that? Was that the season of the classic JW film production of "Winter's Return?"
