Crystal is getting a gondola

Not to totally hijack the thread. Jumbo will never work as a destination, too far from a major airport. The "Next Whistler" has been proposed and failed many times. Kicking Horse claimed it, of course from Calgary you have to pass 4+ major ski areas in the 4 hour drive. Revelstoke, same problem, only worse, called "Revelbroke" since they could not make liftie payroll. Fernie is trying, real estate is not keeping up expectations due to too much cheap land nearby and not enough airports. Red is trying and no one is showing up. All great places to ski, just not "the Next Whistler".
Seattle has the airport but not the elevation or reliable snowfall.
Nothing wrong with being a great local ski hill.

Bamboo didn't work, I'll be there tomorrow, goin' all Jackie Chan on the haters, bamboo swinging or not.

So I'm waiting for the snow on Wednesday.

Plus I don't think I want to ski with you. I have too short a temper.  

Clearly we desperately need this coming snow.

Did I hear someone say 'decent cigar'? Music to my ears. I have to go to Tofino to get a happy smoke. Couldn't believe it, last summer, a $3 Cuban, one of the best I've had in years. Tear down the wall...
