a. Female
b. 35-45
c. Rando, Tele, x-country, garbage bags (yes, glissading is fun, too!)
d. Sometimes with friends, often alone
e. Mt. Hyak, because I know it and am comfortable skiing it alone; also because in my backyard and good for a quick workout. I like Kendall as well - close, low-angle, open glades and easy road to access
f. Rain, crust, clouds; sunny spring skiing is awesome, even when the snow isn't so great.
g. Any time there is enough snow to slide on more than 60% of the trip.
h. Dog company, workout, peace, fresh tracks, expense
i. I agree, we seem to have about the same cycling we have had over the last 35 years, although I think there has been an upward trend in average minimum snow elevation
j. Other backcountry snow users are the city-dwellers who like to tome up in fall and spring to show off their 4WD abilities to get stuck in the snow farther down (up) the logging roads from assistance than other 4WD gapers.

a. Male
b. 57
c. Rando
d. Partners or alone, never my SO
e. North side of Snoqualmie Mt.
f. Snow enhances the experience, more people detract
g. All
h. Exercise and first tracks
i. This year, yes. Last year, no. In general glaciers and "permanent" snowfields have suffered hugely in the last 20, if not last 5 years. Those who go there realize this.
j. Ben, you might have a better response if you used surveymonkey.com or something similar.
