Just thought i would toss out the PM Gear lhasa pows into the mix as well. Very similar to the S7 but you can get a carbon version which is a bit stiffer and has more "pop" to it. I haven't been on s7's or the bill goats but the guys on TGR often answer the "what skis like a s7/lhasa pow" with lhasa pow/s7. The LP is also a bit lighter in the carbon version so if your touring might be another factor but the price is a bit more than the bill goats. Also the LP doesnt have a tail rocker and is more of a traditional tail which is nice for skins.

The PM Gear Lhasa Pows look sweet, but alas, at 186 they are too long for this guy (no matter how short they ski).  I like the 176 S7 or BG, but the 15m S7 turn radius vs 20.5m for the BG is also a major factor.  I may take a trip to P-town and demo a pair of BG's before pulling the trigger - we'll have to see.

Thanks for everyone's input  :D

one thing to mention if you haven't really skied a rocker (well ebsides your short day on the s7) is they do ski shorter...ie a 186 lhasa would feel more like a 176. They are noticeably longer (like mentally and physically) but ski wise they ski much shorter :)

Just mentioning that but you probably already knew it
