So my question is: Has anyone tried the Billy Goat's from the Portland company ON3P and if so what did you think? The dimensions are almost identical to the S7, but the build (camber placements, stiffness etc) can change the way a ski behaves (I'm preaching to the quire here

While skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows over the weekend I demoed a pair or Rossignol S7'ens and LOVED them! I'm a "a bad carpenter never blames his tools" kind of guy, but those things bumped my skiing up quite a few notches. Charging down windblown double blacks full of sloppy seconds felt like butter, tight trees - no problem, hard pack/groomers - yep, happy there too

Anyway, I'm trying to keep $$ in the PNW and just thought I'd throw this out there and see what happens.
I ride the S7's and agree with you.
Contact Oftpiste, he knows the ON3P really well and can give you so more info. Never ridden the Billy Goat's.
S7's are so much fun

I saw a pair over the weekend and they looked great and the guy on them sounded like he was in love.
I suspect that even if you didn't like them you could sell them for very close to what you pay as they're quite in demand.

Keep hearing about the S7's, and recently ON3P. Just for AT or ok for tele, too? Keep wanting to pull the trigger on a new buy, but the snowpack's got me bummed
