I'm not one to kick a large(r) corporation while they're down, but it's been a amateurish rendering for sure. We shall see.

it is also a little frustrating because from a business perspective they have had our money for almost 6 months to help cash flow, put in the bank and earn interest, etc.. it made sense to me that this value of giving our money to them so early was why we got such a "special" deal. i would love to see a screen shot of the offer i signed up for. but even if its because i failed to read the fine print... i still feel screwed by crystal mt. i think this is the sort of reason i left them for stevens 8 years ago. not sure i made a good decision returning to them this year.

It's obvious that you are upset, disappointed, and angry. But I'm not understanding how this is a bait and switch or Crystal's fault?
The website was very clear as reflected in the email below from Crystal.
From Crystal Mountain, sent on March 30, 2009:

crube Read the quote above that was earlier in this thread.
You are entitled to your feelings, but my gosh the town of Self Pity has a population of one. Take some responsibility and keep the blame off the resort.
The rules were well stated and outlined at purchase, I weighed my options knowing the rules, so it is real hard for me to pull out a violin for your actions.
I don't mean to be so harsh. but I get tired of the victim story....At least keep the unhappiness to viable problems that can be resolved through constructive input for the resort.
I went to get my pass the other day at Crystal and they had not even gotten to mine yet, I was upset that they had my money for months and not given me a simple pass.
I got a call at my house from the resort yesterday telling me that they were not going to mail my pass and let me pick it up on weds at a will call. Even though it was not done the way I thought it should be, the reality is that they made an effort to right the ship. Even if it was not done the way I would operate my business, it was handled professionally to a resolution.
