went up with andrew and chris and let me tell you. the snow was awesome. We hiked up to just shy of camp muir (pretty much) and had probably ~500 vert runs (i suck at estimating vert so might be more or less) The snow was buttery smooth...camp near spring corn quality for each of our 3 runs. Were able to ski down to probably a quarter mile of the camp muir/paradise loop trail cutoff. Though getting up there boot packing for aways is probably a better idea. Visibility for most of the runs was probably about 100 feet when looking at someone and like 15 when looking ta the snow.
it might not have been the 2 feet of blower powder in bluebird but damn it's by far one of the better days i have done skiing wise.
Im sure a TR with pics will be posted...just got home and im going to bed!

Becky and I only saw three other skiers up there today, so I guess it must have been y'all. Great snow for early September, viz was about what we expected... our second lap was much better cause we could ski a bit faster and not just play 'follow the gps' as we did on the first lap. Should be good coverage up there for a few more days... Hopefully some tayers will go harvest some mid-week corn.

we probably saw you. We saw (very briefly) and heard two other skiers to skiers left on the otherside of a moraine. We did see three other people arriving on the same pitch we were skiing just as we were skinning up for our final run.
Probably saw ~40-50 other people. Some definitely going for a summit with a guide and others it was hard to tell in the clouds/fog
