Any advice on the best ways to do this? Any "green" products that help do the trick?

Zep Citrus degreaser. About $4 for a large bottle with a spray top at Home Depot. I don't know how green this stuff really is, but it smells and works great.

Iron on a coat of wax and scrape it while it's hot -- that'll do it nicely.

Thanks, all -- I tried the degreaser and put on some wax -- hopefully that will work along with good abrasive summer snow.
