That may work when the snow isn't covered by pollen. But during the pollen season the snow IS the problem.

in regards to the dirty granular snow. scrape the surface layer off with the
tail for its length. and dirty up the sraped snow. I just wait till the next day.
Also, I tried Ivory soap last spring at my home hill, Mammoth. It was hard to tell the result. It was 4 inches of new from the previous day (1st wk of June)
