What's a Navy man doing in Ellensburg? Oh well, not any stranger than a Navy man who snow skis alot. Maybe we can connect at the pass next year. Say hi to your family.

We skied Mt Adams from the south on May 18th last year. We started at 650 m at 2 am and summited at 2 pm. The approach on the road was loooooooong, but I'd do it again. We did not ski the SW chutes because it was our first time on Mt Adams and we were the only two people on the mountain.

The south side approach usually melts out or is close about the middle of June in an avg. yr. I would expect the north side to be a bit later than that. Skip E.
