Spring Glove? was created by stoudema
My lightweight OR gloves are pretty much shot after several seasons - anyone got any good recommendations for lightweight Spring touring gloves?

Just kidding. I find all the softshell gloves I use wear out from my poles while skinning so I've gone with a lightweight pair of BD leather gloves. Bit hot but they are lasting better.

:)

Thanks for the input, I've thought about trying some leather gloves.............with splitboarding, not only do the poles wear out the gloves, fiddling with the binding straps do as well.........

I've found that my bicycle gloves work great.

The stormtracker gloves from OR work great!

I just did a one day endurance fest on the forbidden ski traverse and they stayed on my hands from morning to night!
They have good dexterity!

Wells Lamont Grips, with or without wool or poly glove liner. Leather palm, thumb and finger provide durability and poly mesh type backing provide good ventilation. I wear these for touring in the winter with a wool liner and for the descents in spring with or without the liner. I don't wear gloves climbing in springtime. A good treatment with Snoseal and these are fairly weather proof. $12.95.
