I found a pair of tele skis @ the goodwill the other day and picked them up.

And all this time my ski partners have said I went to the dark side on AT gear. If Tele is the new dark side I must be some kind of baby sacrificing ultra-heathen. ???

hey ya'll, thanks for your many posts...i'm on the look out for some boots now. thanks for the input, now i know what to look for.
i tried emailing rainey designs regarding getting some heel lifters and crampons for the super loops. but my email bounced back saying undeliverable. their website says they have disco'ed the super loops, but that they still have parts/stock on hand.
a long shot- anyone have working email address for rainey designs?
or, more likely- any other sources for super loop heel lifters/crampons?

Use any heel lifts, just match the base height.

I had the crampons, didn't like them, sold them.

what do you mean, "match the base height"
are various brands/types of heel lifters universal, i mean, do they all fit the same?
