Good to know that one got resolved and kudos to him for making it right. It really shouldn't have been that hard though.
Now all they have to do is get that mercenary FS cop off the road!

As a past critic of Crystal management. I too had a good experience last week relating to management and tickets.
They still have a long ways to go before I am a fan of anything besides the terrain at Crystal, but they appear to be making progress and should be commended for it.
In the past what has frustrated me is how little is actually needed to make the place a super well run and welcoming ski hill loved by all.
Baker has the spirit to be copied, Crystal has the terrain to be cloned.

I'm happy for Holly!
I am kind of a homer to Crystal, don't work there, but ski there more than most, and less than a few. So I have a little more tolerance to the things that go on there.
I self grumble here and there, but overall I think people overlook the little things that they do such as:
I parked in the upper lot Sat and there was a heck of a lot of blue water ice. I thought I should have brought some sand from the house to put behind my tires.
Then out of nowhere this guy pulls up in a Crystal Truck jumps out with a bucket of sand in his hand, falls on the ice and gets up and puts sand behind the tires of all the cars in the lot. I thanked him for his special service.
I got to the chair, everything was a go early so they opened I think at 8:30 if not earlier. At least a 1/2 hour earlier than scheduled.
They allowed the public access to the King Sat and Sun (after control work and the powder 8's), The Patrolers were very informative and helpful, just not skiing the North Face into A-basin. I cycled one quick lap and ran into an old friend with his kids who skied the King for their first time!
At the end of the day, they changed the policy so access to short north is still open, signs say to catch I-5 trail out-great news!!!
Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like a pretty good service to me!
I talked to John that day and thanked him for what he did for Holly, he was very happy to help her out. I told him she has a great spirit and it would benefit the mountain with many Karmic points.
Sometimes you just gotta go to the top if you're not hearing the right answer from below.
