Heh...
Looking out my window, blue sky, no snow on the ground.
At least the snow line dropped this week.
Forecast and sat images do suggest potential though.

I will believe it when the snow is on the ground. Have seen too many forecasts that have not been even close. The best storms are the ones that nobody sees coming! Unfortunately my cynicisim grows even stronger when I watch the local news and hear tales of blizzards and epic weather storms, only to witness normal weather patterns.

One to three feet of new snow and high winds, watch out for the slab build up...it will be touchy up on the high ridges...
To a deep winter...

"Avalanche expert Mark Moore said the mountain snowpack is shallow and that Seattle-area outdoor enthusiasts are eager to hit the slopes.
But mountains driving conditions, especially Sunday through Monday, will be cold, windy and brutal, he said.
"What we don't want is for people to go out and have a repeat of last year's avalanche accidents," said Moore, director of the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center in Seattle.
In December 2007, when conditions were similar to this winter, six people died in Northwest avalanches, he said."
Should get spicy from here on out......
