Fall on Beacon Practice

I didn't get by until after dark, but it looked like most of the leaves were all picked up or in huge piles; s'pose you could unpile them . I'll be by again tomorrow morning and give a day light assessment for you.

I have to say it saddens me were trip reporting to each other the condition of leaves and not snow!

Sad it is, but I can add that there is significant depth to most of the piles and you should bring shovels as well! The north end is in piles, but the middle and SE, south of the arboretum, still has adequate looking coverage. Might need the rock(grass) skis. : Have fun!

I'm planning on being there.

I'm in agreement...sad about the snow conditions...but I'm mounting my new bindings right now, so the planks are out of commision for a short while. Might as well do some beacon practice.

Jill and I found a secret stash and worked the terrain with our beacons.  Thanks for the great idea.  These are desperate times.
