Ohh you must be talking about Chugach. :
Not so my friend. If you look at the recent Artist Point TR you will notice that Chuggie is behind my tracks and has become a high trained, well behaved and respectful ski partner who patiently waits for me to deskin and launch and then follows my line at a prescribed distance.!!
I almost believe what I just wrote.

Good to see that canine finally has some discipline like his master.you will notice that Chuggie is behind my tracks and has become a high trained, well behaved and respectful ski partner who patiently waits for me to deskin and launch and then follows my line at a prescribed distance.!!

I'm relieved to know I don't need to sweat searching for that dog ever again.
BTW:
I am particularly impressed with the backcountry nomenclature used in this thread.
dynafuttzing
gearwhoredom
monster walk
"Tools, not jewels!"
All shall be under considerations for personal use in Backcountry Joe-ism's

So will he be available for coaching sessions this winter?
Does he speak Golden Retriever?

Yeah, you should ski with me more often.Ski with decrepit old farts who are so slow that they don't notice your delays.

Thanks for the advice and links. I aleady have Fritschi's and have skied on them for the last four years but I have been perservering with the Dynafits as I like the light weight and admire the engineering.
I do already strip my skins with skis on but still find that when I am with a fast crew who have Fritschi's ( in the winter), my dynafit futzing takes time and causes delays.
It is especially important when you are skiing with a line snake who will steal your freshies while you are dynafutzzing. ( Oh Telemack where are you)
I think after last winter where I used both Fritschi's and Dynafits I have now come to the conclusion , that dynafits( for me) are a spring/summer touring binding and I'm parking them up for the winter henceforce!
You're not the best one to be complaining about line snakes, Chris...
