G3 skis delam!

Two Ticket Delam in the tail where the tail meets the tail protector...obviously they're not drug testing the guy in Tunisia who is bondo'ing the tails/edge connection.

Third pair beginning to happen and...the night before the biggest day 'down here below the 45th'....I was edge filing and noticed a separation under the binding with the connection of base to sidewall. I was able to wedge it open (with finish nails...like tire levers) long enough that I could had dropped a debit card in. Mixxed up a thick batch of JB Weld and clamped the snot out of it. Held off skiing them the next day (had to pull out the ole' Suomo's) and I'm back on the Tickets!. I will ski these...thru-bolt/t-nut and expoxy as needed!

I bought my 2008 Rapid Transits for half price at the February G3 warehouse sale. One ski started to delaminate about an inch from a edge chip on my June Mt.Adams trip. I figured that I had caused the problem, but I took it into G3's North Vancouver store anyways. Their customer service guy gave it a good look over and said that the company stood by its products...I picked up my brand new 2009 model RTs last week.
