I was going to go on vacation for a week. I've put it off 3 times and now had to put it off until the first week of july. Maybe we will get june then :)

I was supposed to be on vacation this week as well, but put it off until next week. Now it is looking like I might need to put it off again! Hopefully I can work it out.

I've been using the "this is the last powder day of the season" line with my wife for a few months now.  I fear that I am loosing credibility.

I hope you're right---not about your cred, which was probably shaky anyhow---but about the multiple-last-powpow thing.

I was using the search function to research a possible tour on Mt Ruth from Glacier Basin and was surprised to see a report for June 9th, 2001 that was very similar to the conditons we have forecast for this weekend, 4000 ft snow levels and new snow. His report for that day said good skiing was had. So anybody got the 7 year itch?

wow, where do you go to get an avy forecast in June (seriously)? ???  Probably on our own… to assess any new snow conditions, ultimately isn't that always the case though.
