Wow is right! Doesn't look like June at all, not with this winter-like 170-knot jet aimed directly at the Pacific Northwest:
(see Jet Stream Analysis & Forecasts, Days 1-3 )

I was going to go on vacation for a week. I've put it off 3 times and now had to put it off until the first week of july. Maybe we will get june then :)

yeah, Becky and I had hoped to ski the snoqualmie haute route over memorial day weekend, now we're thinkin there might be enough snow at the pass over July 4th to do the traverse then....one heck of a long wacky winter.

from the latest NOAA forecast discussion:
"WITH THE SNOW LEVEL AROUND 5000 FEET TODAY AND FALLING TO 3500 FEET ON FRIDAY...LOCAL SNOWFALL TOTALS IN THE HIGHER BACKCOUNTRY COULD BE WELL OVER A FOOT. "

I've been using the "this is the last powder day of the season" line with my wife for a few months now.  I fear that I am loosing credibility.
