Lost Ski in the Stevens BC off Southern Cross

I was skiing in the phat powder off to the Skiers left off of Southern Cross on Saturday afternoon Feb 2nd (day before the super bowl) and lost one of my skies in the powder...its probably 100-200 yards out of bounds and maybe 1/3 of the way down from the lift in a clearing in the trees.

We are planning on making a trip up there in late april to find it...haha

Have faith!!! I lost a ski last year and it came back to me.... 6 weeks and a little rusty edge later. I got lucky and Patrol found it in a tree.

Several years ago, we rented a metal detector and went searching. Found nearly 10 skis and carted them all down to Patrol and posted on Craigslist.

The way this season is going you may have to push that back a little further into summer!

Think positive!!!!!!! During a July hike/skin/ski, I found my car keys on a run at Bachelor after having lost them two years prior. Don't give up......

Yeah we are going to go the metal detector route as posted by puffypants...hence the earliness of our planned search and recovery efforts

so if any of you find a brand new silver k2 there will be beer involved.
