A buddy of mine lost a ski last December at Stevens, towards Grace lakes off Skyline. I found it on my third try looking, on June 12th! It had just melted out and after a grind and wax it is working fine.
That is the key- you have to get it when it just melts out before it sits out on top of the snow getting rusty.
